Bocad Offshore Basic & Advanced Course


Duration:2 weeks (40 Hrs Theory + 40Hrs Practice)

Prerequisites / Eligibility:

The person should be qualified in Diploma / B.Tech of Civil or Mechanical disciplines. Also should have a prior experience in Offshore Structures will help them understanding the terminology and Offshore modeling concepts.

Course Structure:

Training will consist of oral and visual presentations, demonstrations and set exercises. Each workstation will have a training project, populated with model objects. This will be used by the trainees to practice their methods, and to complete the set exercises.

Outcome:

At the end of this course, you will:

  • Have a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of Offshore Basics.
  • Be familiar with making Platforms of all types, Jackets, Mud mats, Topsides, Decks, Jack-up Rigs and Flare booms. Etc.
  • Be confident working with detailing drawings and processes documents
  • Take the knowledge you have acquired to the detailing shop and be more confident and comfortable addressing detailing issues
  • Be familiar with International standards and know how to use them
  • Be confident enough to operate Bocad Offshore module.
